Meet Mama Mothy
Hi. I’m Mama Mothy.
Neurodivergent. Chronically curious. Professional squirrel-follower.
I’m a mom of 3 kids, 3 German shepherds, 2 cats, and a household that includes spiders, praying mantises, beetles, and whatever else needed a home. I love learning, traveling, and thinking things through the only way my brain knows how — differently. I write, build things, do home projects and art projects, and spend a lot of time on my porch with a vanilla iced coffee or a peach sweet tea.
But here’s the thing about how I actually work: I don’t move in straight lines. I move in spirals. A dozen ideas fire at once, and I follow all of them — each one circling and intersecting with the others. It looks chaotic. It is beautiful, controlled chaos. And somehow, impossibly, they all land together at the end, cohesive and whole.
Why this studio exists
This all started with a question.
Curiosity doesn’t stay in one lane. One question becomes research. Research becomes a guide. A family problem becomes a tool. The squirrel goes wherever it goes, and I’ve learned to just follow it.
That’s why books and apps and game guides and recipes all live in the same place. They came from the same brain, chasing the same thing.
